Carter's Mill
A country event venue whose web address had gone dark got a site that shows off the whole place, inside and out.
The problem
Carter's Mill is an event venue on the old Dry Fork mill grounds, with a hall, lots of covered porches and room for weddings, birthdays and family reunions. When the new owners took over, the old website's address had expired. Anybody looking for the place online found a dead link and a couple of Facebook pages.
What we did
- Got cartersmillvenue.com back up and pointed the old addresses at it.
- Opened the site with a video walk through the front arch, with music.
- Built a barn-door photo gallery: tap to walk through the hall, the porches, the grounds and real parties.
- Put their real Google reviews on the site, with a button to leave a new one.
- Set it up so Google can find it, and kept it fast on phones.
- Put a call button on every screen, so booking a date is one tap.
The result
Carter's Mill has a real home online again, and people can see the whole place before they ever drive out.
